Get It is a small book I wrote, illustrated, and designed to help make Contemporary Art accessible to people who might not otherwise find it to be so. Coming from a background that didn't involve art, I know firsthand the feelings of exclusion and opacity that the Contemporary Art world often exude, whether on purpose or otherwise. Using humor, accessible language, and illustration to discuss simple and complex elements of art appreciation, Get It invites anybody and everybody to engage with Contemporary Art.
