During my time working in the Custom Headwear Division at Coal Headwear, we realized we were missing one particular illustration of our supplier's capabilities. In general, we would send Coal in-line products to prospective CHD (Custom Headwear Division) customers. The problem was that the Coal line didn't have any styles that fully showed the capabilities of our supplier's "Magic Jacquard" machine, and neither did any of our older CHD styles from the archives. At the same time, many of our prospective clients wanted to know just how many colors and how detailed of an image we could knit into a beanie. As a solution, I designed a beanie built specifically to demonstrate the most intricate illustrative capabilities of the "Magic Jacquard" knitting machine. 

 

This is the "Meepleton", an homage to the two Corgis we shared the office with - Meeko and Stumpleton (Stump, for short).
