gig poster for Monsterwatch at timbrrr! Fest 2019
In 2018 I had the opportunity to create a commemorative art poster for the band Monsterwatch's performance at Timbrrr! Fest in Leavenworth, Washington. I chose the color palette to reflect both the cold winter weather of Leavenworth as well as the stunning sunsets that happen when the clouds aren't completely covering the sky.
I used both analog and digital processes to create the films for exposing the screens. This is an 18" x 24" three layer print - all of the text and the smoke from the tree's cigarette are a single gradient using a "split fountain" technique, the light blue is a single large field, and the dark lines and texture are the key screen to pull everything together. The white is the cool white paper showing through

I designed and printed this poster under the name Gnarbuckles - a design and illustration entity I was using more frequently at that time.
