In 2020, I was contacted (under my Gnarbuckles name) by Royal Villains to work on a T-shirt graphic as part of their initial drop. The aim was to make a graphic that fused our stylistic viewpoints -- hitting an illustrative, light hearted graphic that still had edge. The final graphic was this skull wearing a bucket hat and a gold chain -- a central part of the look for that line -- and intricate blackletter type balanced with a bolder blackletter calligraphy, a nod to the LA roots of the brand. The first run of

t-shirts were then hand distressed and had limited edition folded clip labels sewn onto the bottom cuff of the shirt.
