This custom flannel was born out of necessity. After struggling to find a plain black flannel that fit me, I decided to take matters into my own hands. After purchasing some flannel, I contacted Beck Ryan--an independent designer

and clothing maker in Seattle--to realize the vision. 

 

This flannel is subtle but stylish. It's all but plain black when everything is buttoned up but as it opens, it begins to show it's personality. The pattern is my own design called "Wave Generator" and influenced by live music and the

equipment used to make it happen.

Using the edge of the printed fabric with my Spoonflower username to create a collaborative tag was the final touch to ice the style cake.
