"wave generator" pattern and flannel shirt

This custom flannel was born out of necessity. After struggling to find a plain black flannel that fit me, I decided to take matters into my own hands. After purchasing some flannel at Joann fabrics, I contacted Beck Ryan -- an independent designer and clothing maker in Seattle -- to see if they'd be willing to take on the

project and they agreed.

This flannel is designed to be subtle but stylish. It's all but plain black when everything is buttoned up but as it opens, it begins to show it's flair. The pattern is my own design called "Wave Generator" -- influenced by live music and the lights and speakers used to make it happen. It is also a perfect option for the goal of an understated but noticeable pop behind an all black shirt.

Using the edge of the printed fabric with my Spoonflower username to create a collaborative tag was the final touch to ice the style cake.
